Fall Media Fellowship

Amazing opportunity to get experience and support in media work including photography, design, documentation, storytelling, event planning, print media, social media, and more with Sogorea Te’ Land Trust’s creative team. 

We are looking for  self identified Indigenous / Native People  engaged in creative work in the Bay Area.  Experience in visual art, design, and cultural arts welcome! Youth, Queer, Trans, and Two-Spirit peoples encouraged to apply.  

  • September 15- December 15 
  • 15 hours a week
  •  $3,500 Stipend

Responsibilities

  • Attend weekly creative team meetings
  • Attend workshops and skillshares
  • Visit land sites and support in land work and documentation
    • (transportation/ ability to travel to various sites across the East Bay needed)
  • Generate creative work 
  • Contribute to social media and the Fall newsletter 
  • Get and give feedback on creative work 
  • Support event planning and implementation 
  • Lead a media project related to rematriation
