The art of rematriation!

Sogorea Te’ collaborates with Lisjan Nation and Indigenous artists to share the story of the land, create visual land acknowledgements, uplift rematriation and enact Indigenous placemaking through art and creative expressions in the East Bay.

From Oakland hills to the Berkeley flatlands we are Indigenizing visual and physical landscapes as part of our rematriation work.

Sogorea Te’ collaborates with Lisjan Nation and Indigenous artists to share the story of the land, create visual land acknowledgements, uplift rematriation,  and indigenize visual and physical  through art and creative expressions in the East Bay.
