Let the Land Breathe Celebration!

April 28, 2026 by Inés Ixierda

Join us to honor the Indigenous vision of removing the concrete and restoring a Sacred Site to balance and honor.

flyer

After years of activism and organizing, court cases, fundraising, planning,  dreaming, sweat, and tears,  we are happy to announce that the removal of the pavement at West Berkeley Shellmound is beginning.

Please join us for this herstoric moment!

Gather at West Berkeley Shellmound

1900 4th st, So called Berkeley

Tuesday 5/6 12-2pm

Bring a chair, waterbottle, sun protection and intention for the land.

Removing the concrete and daylighting Strawberry Creek furthers our vision for cultural revitalization, securing a sacred space for the Lisjan people in perpetuity. We are making possible a return to ceremony and ensuring the future where our next generations can learn and thrive directly with land.
